Introduction: Incontinentia Pigmenti (IP) is a multisystem genodermatosis characterized by cutaneous, neurologic, ophthalmologic, and dental abnormalities. Skin alterations are the main characterestic of IP. They can change and even disappear over time, in contrast, dental ones are permanent and considered as the most frequent extra cutaneous signs. The aim of this work is to present two rare clinical reports of Incontinentia Pigmenti and to adress its frequent orofacial manifestations in the dental litterature. Case Reports: In this paper, we report two clinical cases of incontinencia pigmenti in two female patients, five and nine years old, who were first examined by a dermatologist due to skin changes and then referred to our pediatric dentistry department in la Rabta hospital for oral examination. We managed these cases in collaboration with the pediatric department. We also conducted a research in the following electronic databases: PubMed and google scholar using the following ke

Single Maxillary Complete Denture: Particularities and Treatment Considerations
Rahma Bounaouara, Oumaima Tayari, Lamia Mansour, and Jamila Jaouadi

The prosthetic restoration of a unimaxillary edentulous arch is a complex treatment and a challenging clinical situation. This type of edentulous is more frequently encountered in the maxilla than in the mandible. It is opposed to a natural dentition, that can be the origin of aesthetic, occlusal and biological problems affecting the integration of the future prosthesis. Achieving harmonious occlusal plane and obtaining occlusal balance and aesthetic satisfaction of the patient are the principal objectives of the treatment. The practitioner must perform a reasoned analysis of the clinical case, detect the existing difficulties, and establish a strategy of adapted treatment. This article aim’s is to present, through two clinical cases, the particularities of this type of edentulism, and the therapeutic approach for the management of the aesthetic and functional difficulties.

Abstract The dentigerous cyst is the second most common odontogenic. The prevalence rates ranging from 0.8% to 3.6% in the general population. It affects people especially at the second and third decade of life with a male predilection. It presents a preference for the mandibular region particularly for the second lower premolar. Surgical marsupialization or decompression are the most conservative treatment modalities as it prevents the risks of cyst removal as nerve injuries and preserves the unerupted tooth. Two clinical cases of two young patients presenting a dentigerous cyst involving impacted teeth, which were successfully treated by decompression will be reported in order to highlight the benefits and limits of cyst decompression as well as detailing its operating protocol and its instructions. Benefit of Panoramic Radiography in the Detection of Carotid Calcifications: Clinical Case Reports and Review of the Literature
Olfa Zaghden , Rawia Jaziri, Rym Kammoun , Imen Chaabani , and Touhami Ben Alaya

Atherosclerotic lesions in the common carotid artery are one of the most frequent causes of ischemic stroke. They are usually diagnosed by cardiologists and are managed following complementary examinations. In dental practice, panoramic radiograph is a basic examination frequently performed in first line. On this radiography, possible unilateral or bilateral opacities projecting to the latero-cervical regions can be visualized, raising suspicion of carotid calcifications. The aim of this study was to present, through three cases and a review of the literature, the benefit of PR in the diagnosis of carotid calcifications and the approaches to be followed in case of such suspicious images. This would contribute, in some cases, to an early diagnosis and management, thus avoiding the evolution towards cerebral vascular accidents.
